What I would like in my stocking at christmas

I know you're probably wondering 'Why is she writing about Christmas in October?'. Well here's why:

Last weekend I went and saw Billy Elliot the Musical with my friend as her birthday present and on the trailer thingy it was coming out on DVD later in the year. So later that night I researched when it comes out and it is on 24th of November. What I'm trying to say is that I would like it maybe as a Christmas gift if you are reading this mum or dad.

See you,
Lucy xx

Paris...City of Love??

Many people think Paris is the city of Love, but I've got a different theory. It was inspired by a book called 'The Geography of You and Me' by Jennifer E. Smith.

The theory is that  any city is the city of love as long as you have your loved ones and you feel loved.

So yeah that's the blog post for today. I know it's short but it's quality not quantity right?

Comment below on what you think of my theory.

See you soon,

Lucy xxx

Pushkin

Hi guys

Now that I know I haven't posted in a while. It's because I had nothing to post about.  But now I do.

So onto the main subject Pushkin. Many of you won't know what it is but basically it's a creative writing competition held in my country and I'm planning to enter it. An English teacher at my school holds a club in order for budding young writers like me to come along in and write about anything we like (she gives an stimulus sometimes).

Today was the first session and she explained to us what it was about, a girl last year who was very lucky to win a place gave speech about her week up in Moniack Mhor (that's what you get for winning...a whole week up in the countryside writing. Doesn't that sound lovely?) and we got about 25 minutes to write about one of the ten stimulus that we were offered then some of us read out our starting points of our story. It is now down to us to decide if we want to finish it. I might.

I'll leave link below to the website if you want to mention it to one of your teachers (you can only apply if you live in Scotland sorry!)

Until next time,

Bye xx
